A little bit of time has passed since my last post… but here it is.
Since I started pursuing modelling, acting and writing I have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to connect with some very talented and influential individuals; designers, photographers, stylists, make up artists, musicians, painters.. and I am blown away by their level of commitment and dedication to their craft.
Recently I had the incredible opportunity to meet and work with the very talented jewelry designer Marie Li Cabral; CEO and owner of Cabralli and Company. She had a very clear vision of how she wanted her website and print materials to look.
Marie Li brought on board local Edmonton photographer Cindy Gannon to shoot the project; Cindy was great to work with, gave excellent direction and provided the images that Marie Li was looking for. This was a very fun project for me, a lot of wardrobe changes, great potential exposure and the bonus opportunity to connect with two very exceptional women in this industry.
As I get more and more involved in this industry it becomes very apparent that success is not measured on talent alone, but the passion and drive to commit long term to this not always glamorous business. It is hard work and a huge investment.. so when Mommy and Daddies money runs out… there are a large number that fall off the ladder ; )
